Evidence you can put in front of a quality committee

EngagedLab reports counts before conclusions, states the denominator beside every figure, and withholds a figure rather than printing a misleading zero. This page also states what has not been verified, because that is the half a procurement process actually needs.

The evidence trail

Attainment and coverage are kept apart on purpose. A learner who clicked through every activity has covered the lab and demonstrated nothing, and no figure in this product conflates the two.

Every figure carries its denominator

The accreditation artefact states the method, the mastery rule and both floors verbatim, maps every objective to the items that evidence it, and names the objectives that no item maps to.

Small cohorts are withheld, not rounded

Below the disclosure threshold the figure is replaced by the reason it was withheld, and nothing else in the report lets it be reconstructed. The artefact says in words that a withheld figure is not zero per cent.

Reproducible

Identical inputs produce a byte identical artefact, so two people reading the same cohort are reading the same document.

Discipline coverage and safety

21 UK discipline packs, each with its own referencing standard, its own reasoning moves, and its own red flags. A nursing lab and a contract law lab are shaped differently because the disciplines are.

The safety overlay

A separate safety overlay runs on top of these, from 14 discipline specific banks. It does not cover every discipline: a lab in a discipline with no bank has had no safety overlay applied, and the run reports that rather than implying a clean pass.

Delivery and data

The application and its Supabase stack run together on infrastructure you control. Exports are SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 4th Edition.

An export that phones nobody

With evidence return switched off, the package makes no request to EngagedLab or to anyone else. That is asserted against the built bytes on every download, and the export refuses to be handed over if it would contact an address nobody declared.

Evidence return is a decision you make per download

Switch it on and the dialog prints, in full, the one address the package will contact and every field an attempt will carry, before the download starts. Identity is your LMS's own learner id, hashed with a per deployment key. No name, no email, no cookie, no cross site identifier.

Model use is constrained

Generation, repair, judging and tutoring run only on the two allow-listed models, enforced where the provider is constructed rather than at each call site. An arbitrary model configured by environment is rejected.

What we have not verified

Written here rather than discovered later.

What this does not do

SCORM 2004 2nd and 3rd Edition are not built. If your LMS requires 3rd Edition specifically, tell us before you buy: 4th Edition packages will not import there.

We have not executed our packages against a live Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard or Brightspace instance, and we do not claim to have. What continuous integration does assert is the manifest's required elements, that every file the manifest references exists in the zip, and that the page makes zero external requests. The packages are not schema validated against the CAM XSD, because we do not ship one. SCORM Cloud runs its own validation on import and is where to prove conformance independently of us.

Nothing in the product has been through an accessibility audit by a third party. The interface is built to keyboard, contrast, labelling and reduced motion requirements and is tested for them, which is not the same as a conformance statement.
