Explore the workflow

Bring the material you already teach

Upload PDF, DOCX, PPTX, Markdown, HTML, CSV, or text. Extraction warnings tell you when part of a file could not be read.

Keep generation grounded in the source

The pipeline maps the source to a subject, learning level, teaching archetype, and explicit objectives before writing sections.

Use the right interaction for the idea

Labs combine 17 activity types: recognition work such as multiple choice, matching, ordering and classification, applied work such as exercises, numeric calculation and cloze, plus reflection and application-drawn diagrams.

Ask for a decision, not just an answer

6 high-agency families go further: branching scenarios, parameterised experiments, an artefact with one authored fault to repair, evidence investigations, capacity-constrained prioritisation, and steered dialogue. Each is marked by this application, not by the model.

Hints that support the attempt

An assessed step needs a three-rung hint ladder: orientation, then structure, then scaffold, with the scaffold rung declaring what it must not reveal. Generation writes the rungs from each step's own answer key and refuses a ladder it cannot write without giving the answer away, so the readiness report names any assessed step left without one and Studio is where you write it. The Lab Assistant stays Socratic while an assessed attempt is still open.

Further reading that says where it came from

A reading is tiered as foundation, core, or extension and must state its provenance: found in your upload, a suggested search topic, or model generated and unverified. A suggested search topic is never presented as a citation. Generation writes the list from your upload, tying each reading to the passage it came from or marking it a search topic with no citation, and you add or correct readings in Studio.

Watch the lab assemble

Generation streams visible stages and a live preview, with bounded model calls, repair passes, and clear failure messages.

Edit the result in Studio

Refine titles, sections, blocks, options, explanations, and other supported fields, then preview the learner view before saving.

Give learners an active path

Progress, notes, confidence prompts, retries, and feedback turn a source document into something learners can work through. XP is awarded by the activity's difficulty and by whether it was right first time, not for arriving.

Export for your LMS

Download SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004 4th Edition packages for Blackboard, Canvas, Moodle, and other compatible platforms. The gradebook figure is correctness, not the share of the lab a learner clicked through.

Generation pipeline

More than a prompt: a bounded teaching workflow

EngagedLab separates planning, section writing, diagrams, repair, and judging. Terra handles the core work. Luna handles lighter workloads and tutoring. Any other configured model is rejected.

Export the lab, with privacy choices made explicit

Choose the SCORM version that matches your LMS. Evidence return remains off unless you deliberately enable it for that download.

  • SCORM 1.2
  • SCORM 2004 4th Edition
  • Optional evidence return

SCORM 2004 2nd and 3rd Edition are not built. If your LMS requires 3rd Edition specifically, tell us before you buy: 4th Edition packages will not import there.

Simple workflow

Upload your content, review the generated lab, and export to your LMS. No coding required.

From your notes to a complete lab in 4 simple steps

Upload your materials

Add lecture slides, chapters, handouts, course notes, or paste text you already have. The source preview shows exactly what reached the generator.

Supports PDF, DOCX, PPTX, Markdown, HTML, CSV, and plain text.

We understand your content

Your material is mapped to a subject domain, learning level, objectives, and an appropriate teaching flow. Each generated section stays grounded in the source.

Objectives and assessed activities retain explicit evidence mappings.

Every lab is quality-checked

Schema, source coverage, assessment mapping, interaction structure, diagrams, and content budgets are validated before the result reaches the preview. A check that could not apply to your lab is reported as inapplicable, never as passed.

Repair and coverage passes run within a bounded generation budget. The full list of checks is published.

Edit, export, and teach

Preview the learner experience, refine the lab in Studio, save it, and download a self-contained package for your LMS.

Choose SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004, with optional EngagedLab evidence return when you enable it.

Evidence, not decoration

See what happened, and know what the figures mean

EngagedLab reports counts first, explains every denominator, and withholds claims the available evidence cannot support.

The real report states learners met over learners attempted, with the denominator beside every figure, and prints a suppression reason in place of a number when a cohort is too small to disclose.

Objective-level evidence

Assessed activities retain objective IDs, so the report can show coverage and attainment without treating reading or reflection as a correct answer.

Hard items and distractors

First-attempt facility, response spreads, confidence, and hint use reveal where an item or the teaching before it needs attention.

Small-cohort safeguards

Sensitive aggregate figures are withheld below disclosure thresholds, with a plain-language reason instead of a misleading zero.

Who EngagedLab is built for

Time back

For lecturers

Building active learning material by hand can consume hours that should go into teaching.

Start from existing notes, review the generated result, and keep editorial control in Studio.

For lecturers
Quality

For learning designers

A generated activity is only useful when its objectives, interactions, and feedback can be inspected.

Use source mappings, validation, preview, and editing to shape a defensible learner journey.

For learning designers
Evidence

For programme teams

Teaching evidence becomes difficult to interpret when counts, denominators, and scope are unclear.

Use run-scoped reports with objective evidence, item behaviour, confidence, and hint coverage.

For programme teams
Technical fit

For IT and LMS teams

New tools need clear hosting, authentication, data-flow, and package behaviour.

Deploy the app and Supabase on controlled infrastructure, then export SCORM for supported LMS platforms.
